These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of HTML2DocHub (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the API, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
HTML2DocHub is operated as an individual proprietorship based in India. We are not a registered company. All references to "we," "us," or "HTML2DocHub" refer to that individual proprietorship.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By signing up, you confirm the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to bind any organisation you claim to represent.
You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend accounts that show signs of credential compromise or abuse.
You may not use the Service to:
Accounts found in violation may be suspended or terminated without refund. In serious cases we may report you to law enforcement.
The default rate limit is 60 requests/minute per API key. Request higher limits by email. We may also enforce global limits on maximum pages per job and maximum render time — see the admin-published configuration.
The Service operates on a prepaid wallet. Funds are added via Razorpay. The amount you see in your wallet is the net amount credited. Razorpay's payment gateway fee (approximately 2% of the transaction) and the 18% GST on that fee are added on top of the wallet credit at checkout and shown transparently in the fee preview — they are not deducted from the amount that reaches your wallet.
Each successful render deducts from the wallet per the pricing published at /pricing. Failed renders are not charged. We do not refund for rendered jobs unless there is a technical error on our side — in which case the wallet is automatically refunded for that job.
Wallet balances do not expire. You may request a refund of unused wallet balance by emailing us; we will process refunds through the original payment method within 7 business days, subject to Razorpay's refund capabilities.
New accounts receive a one-time ₹10 wallet credit after email verification. This credit is promotional, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash. It does not carry an SLA and can be withdrawn or adjusted at our discretion for accounts that appear to be abusing it (for example, mass-signup with disposable email addresses).
We retain your account data while the account is active. Wallet transactions are retained for 7 years as required by Indian accounting law. Rendered PDF and image outputs are stored in Amazon S3 and accessible via signed URLs for the duration defined by your signed-URL expiry. Source HTML is not persisted beyond the lifetime of a render — we do not keep your input.
On account deletion we zero out personally-identifying fields; wallet transaction rows are retained in anonymised form for legal and accounting purposes.
We target 99.9% monthly uptime of the public API. Actual performance is best-effort. For prolonged outages we may at our discretion issue wallet credits. Service credits are your sole remedy for outages.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the total amount you paid us in the three months preceding the event that gave rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or business.
You retain all rights to the HTML you submit and to the PDFs and images you generate. We claim no ownership over your output. You grant us a limited licence to render the HTML solely to fulfil your API requests.
You may terminate your account at any time via the API or by email. We may terminate your account for material breach of these Terms after notice where reasonable, or immediately for illegal use. On termination we will refund any unused wallet balance per clause 6.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, subject to mandatory consumer protection laws of your home jurisdiction.
